Harrow Local Core Offer: your guide to services
The Local Core Offer outlines the different services and support available in the borough for children and young adults under the age of 25 with special educational needs and those who are disabled. It also provides information about a young person's transition into adulthood. The purpose of the local offer is to enable parents and young people to see more clearly what services are available in their area and how to access them.
This service provides children and young people with disabilities the opportunity to access fun and exciting activities whilst developing their personal skills and to make friends with their peers. It also provides the parent/carer with a break from providing care so that they can spend more time with other members of the family, pursue personal interests and education goals or to take time out to relax and recharge their batteries.
