• London Children's Ballet

  On Friday the 23rd September the London Children's Ballet came to Woodlands school where they performed 'Anne of Green Gables'. This was a wonderful experience for pupils across the school. There was an opportunity for a meet and greet afterwards and the ballet dancers showed us how to perform some of their skills! A massive thank you to the London's Children's ballet for giving us an experience we won't forget.

  

• Theatrical Production of Hobbit

  Last week we had the privilege of watching the theatre production of ‘Hobbit’. Children were excited and the energy and enthusiasm the cast showed was contagious and grabbed the attention of the children from start to finish. Thank you to M&M Theatrical Production for delivering this fantastic experience!

  

• Primary Shakespeare Performance

  In June 2022 Ash and Aspen class performed at the Ryan Theatre as part of Harrow’s ‘Primary Shakespeare’ performance with other schools. The children and staff were amazing to watch and made us all very proud. Thank you to the Primary Shakespeare Company for their continued support and inclusivity of our pupils.

  

• Science Day!

  On Friday in Woodlands, we celebrated Science with a topic day and lots of fun activities around school. Pupils played with magnets, took part in experiments, enjoyed the water play and the 4D journey to Space. 'Electricity' and 'The senses' stations were fun. Everybody enjoyed making slime too!

  

• Queen's Jubilee Celebration

  Today at Woodlands we had a party to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee!

  We ate ice cream and jelly, had scones with jam and played lots of different games. Thank you to all our families, staff and pupils for such a great morning! Also congratulations to our bake off  winners and every one who baked for the cake sale, they all looked amazing and were delicious!

  

• Eid Celebration

  This week of school we celebrated Eid. Pupils had the opportunity to experience a Mosque in our Sensory Room. We cooked and tasted some Islamic traditional food. Pupils enjoyed henna, dressing up and dancing in the Studio. We made Eid cards to wish Eid Mubarak!

  

• Arks Farms

  Last week we had some return visitors to Woodlands!

  Arks Farm came along and brought the sunshine with them. Pupils had the opportunity to meet all the animals and say hello. We all enjoyed seeing the animals and having real hands on experience! It was a fun day for all. We cant wait to welcome you back again soon!

  

• Circus

  Wed 23 Mar 2022

  We were very lucky last week to have the circus join us for a fun filled day of workshops. We learned new skills, such as plate spinning, and loved watching the juggling and giant bubbles.

• Children's Mental Health Week

  Woodlands school celebrated children's mental health week! Our children enjoyed doing fun activities, such as 'yoga, gymnastics, cooking, foot spa, visiting our therapy dog and reading!
