The Family Liaison Advisor at Woodlands offers support to families in the following ways:

• Advocacy for when you need someone present at meetings with you.

• Accessing a Social worker, social care or care package.

• Help with accessing short breaks and other respite options.

• Sign posting for support with welfare benefits advice.

• Liaising and working with different services and teams.

• Organising coffee mornings where relevant speakers and professionals are invited for particular sessions.

• Offering one-to-one sessions for those families in need of intensive support.

• Available to be a listening ear when you need someone to talk to.

Every half term our families will receive a newsletter that advertises useful events taking

place within school for families, as well as other useful information.

We are keen to continue to develop the support we offer our families and look forward to hearing your suggestions and receiving your feedback.
