The Incredible Years Programme:
This is a closed group for referred parents only.
The Incredible Years Programme® is a series of joined up, evidence-based programmes for parents, children, and teachers, supported by over 30 years of research. The goal is to prevent and support young children's behaviour problems and improve their social, emotional, and academic skills. The programs are used worldwide in schools and mental health centres, and have been shown to work for families across all ranges of different cultures and backgrounds.
The group will run for 12 sessions, starting from Thursday 17th January and will take place at Woodlands School on Thursday mornings between 10.00 am and 12.00 midday.
The group will be run by: Ian Hall - Clinical Nurse Specialist, Sonya Lewin – CAMHS Support Worker & Ellen Allright - Class Teacher at Woodlands.

Bring a Story to Life:
Free 5 week course for Parents and Carers, including Grand-Parents, adult siblings and other family members in caring roles. This training would help you 'bring a story to life' and encourage your child to enjoy stories and books at home.
· Improve confidence in reading with your child
· Share ideas about stories and books
· Make props to enhance a story
· On the last day enjoy a story with your child in the group
Starting Monday 4th March and every Monday for five weeks on the following dates:
Monday 11th March, Monday 18th March, Monday 25th March and Monday 1st March.
Time: 9:30am to 11:30am
Place: Woodlands Special School
Please note that you must be able to attend every session.
