Starting salary: £24,819 p.a.(Harrow Local Officer Scale G5)
Permanent contract: 36 hours per week, 7.30 am – 3.30 pm, term time only
(39 weeks a year)

We are seeking to recruit an adaptable, energetic and motivated person to join our team as a finance assistant. The successful candidate should be flexible, have excellent organisational and communication skills, and an understanding of school based financial systems.
The successful candidate will undertake financial and administrative duties.
You will work under the direction of the School Business Manager and must have an up to date working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Knowledge of FMS and SIMS is desirable but not essential.
As a Finance Assistant your role will include:
• Supporting finance procedures and school invoicing
• Stock management, ordering and monitoring.
• Understanding school finance and processing invoices to orders and reconciling suppliers' statements, handling queries and discrepancies.
• Assisting the Business Manager with any other finance and administration tasks as required.
Relevant experience is desirable but the right attitude and work skills are essential.
